Anotation:
This article deals with the organization of industrial companies from the past to the present. The main aim is the organizational development of grouping of companies and other institutions. We talk about cluster that seems to be one of the best solutions for small and medium-sized companies, how to reach necessary competitiveness on the regional, national and even global markets. The cluster organization is introduced on the basis of a value chain which transforms input factors into products and services, whereas is using its value functions. Effective control of main and supporting functions of value chain within the whole cluster is leading to satisfaction of customer wishes and needs and to reaching of higher profit, which is subsequently divided among the cluster members. In preliminary phases of industrial cluster building in the Czech Republic it has shown that if the cluster has to be efficient and create expected synergic effect it is necessary that the cooperated companies in cluster come together relatively fast. It means that not only expected informational unification but besides real also digital unification in the areas of logistics and production prepa-ration and in own production phases as well. The important tool for digital unification is digital factory. Digital factory is a virtual view of real production, which shows production processes in a virtual environment. It makes possible to planning, simulation and optimization of series produ-ction of intricate products. Digital factory and its systems are one of the key solutions for product lifecycle management (PLM). These solutions make possible for producers to bring products to market more quickly than competition with contemporary lowering of manufacturing costs. More benefits appear mainly in areas of production efficiency maximization, capacities utilization, invest-ment optimization and support of innovative activities in company.
