Economy of Omsk Region: Priorities for the Formation of the Sustainable Development

Economic trends of Omsk area and problems arising in a long-term prospect are opened. Priorities of formation in a model of persistent growth of region’s economy with allowance for features of its resource potential, geopolitics position and needs of activization of innovative processes are proved. Transition to a trajectory of sustainable development of Omsk economy assumes not only overcoming developed institutional and resource restrictions, but also necessity of taking into consideration the changeable context of globalization processes and sharp increase of strategic uncertainty. The new paradigm of economic growth is caused by qualitative change of a role of innovations and it is connected to the involvement of new sources for increasing the competitiveness of the Omsk enterprises.
