Analýza vývoje hrubého předepsaného pojistného

The subject of the analysis is gross premium incomes in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland from the year 1991 till 2002. Insurance businesses belong to one of the best developing economic sectors in the post-communist states. For determination of dynamics in the insurance business there are used increases of gross premium incomes. First, I found out the growth rate and the differences between the chosen states. Then, I analysed the trend function on the base of mean square error criteria and determination ratio. At the end of the article I made predictions of gross written premium for the next four years
